Where to stay before your flight from Marco Polo Airport
Venice's Marco Polo Airport (VCE) is only about 20 minutes by airport bus from Venice's Piazzale Roma (historic center) or Mestre railroad station (mainland).
Other locations in Venice's historic center and on the Lido di Venezia are served by Alilaguna airport boats.
In short, you probably won't need to stay at a hotel near the airport, and the only hotel directly at the airport is a small capsule hotel with "resting pods."
