The Piazzale Roma is at the edge of Venice's historic center, by the road causeway from the mainland.
The area is convenient to taxis and buses for Marco Polo or Treviso airport, and it's ideal if you're catching a cruise ship at Marittima (which is easy to reach via taxi or People Mover). Parking is also close by.
Of the hotels listed below, two are directly on the square and the others are within 5 to 10 minutes on foot.
(The hotels directly on the Piazzale Roma are ideal when you're traveling with heavy luggage, but for atmosphere, you may want to get away from taxis and buses by crossing a bridge or two.)
